Cane Rhum Bar & Caribbean Kitchen, located on East Bay Street in the former Big John’s Tavern, is the place for a birthday bash and less costly meal.
Chef owner Paul Yellin, who grew up in Barbados and has developed recipes to reassert his favorite liquor category’s supremacy in the Lowcountry. His goal was to provide local drinkers with an immersive rum education, starting with the answer to the inevitable question “Why is there an ‘h’ in rum?”
